In Vancouver, a little-known bylaw has pet owners facing fines of up to $250.00 for leaving their dogs unattended while dashing into stores. We've all seen them: forlorn-looking dogs sitting outside a Starbucks or Loblaws, barking at passersby; sometimes lunging at people. Many of the dog thefts in Toronto over the past few years have been as a result of dogs being left unattended. Should there be a bylaw to prevent this from happening? You tell us. Take our poll.
